If you’ve already secured a place in a challenge or have organised your own event, we’d be delighted to support you as you fundraise for Child Bereavement UK.

Whatever type of challenge interests you, our team will be behind you every step of the way with tips and ideas to help you meet your personal goal.

Support the charity with my own challenge place

Past fundraisers have taken part in all sorts of activities from colour runs to driving the Monte Carlo or Bust Rally, see below some of activities previous challengers have done:

Walking, running, kayaking, abseiling, wing-walking, sky-diving, cycling (including tandem), pony trekking, triathlon and ironman challenges, and making world record attempts. And that's not to mention climbing to Everest Basecamp, taking part in the Marathon de Sables, and scaling Kilimanjaro.

The challenge you take on may, at times, seem impossible, but I found that if you’re doing it for a cause close to your heart, you fight that little bit harder.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a welcome email and fundraising pack
  • a charity top to wear on the day
  • support to achieve your target from our dedicated team
  • e-newsletters updating you with news from across the charity
  • access to our fundraiser's Facebook group
  • an invitation to an online charity visit to hear more about our work and how your support helps
