Bereaved children supported by Child Bereavement UK took part in a project to share ‘what helps?’ them in their grief as part of Children’s Grief Awareness Week (17-23 November 2022).

Children supported by bereavement charities across the UK took part in the Sharing Shapes project, drawing pictures on pentagon-shaped templates to represent ‘what helps?’. The individual pictures were combined into the Sharing Shapes Mural which was shared on the Childhood Bereavement Network’s website.

Children supported by Child Bereavement UK at our groups said they were helped in their grief by a variety of things including talking to friends, looking after their pets, playing and listening to music and playing sports.
