If you would like to take part in the iconic London Marathon whilst supporting Child Bereavement UK, you can apply do so in the following ways:

Charity place applications

We are now taking applications for charity places in the 2025 London Marathon. Our charity places are limited and application does not guarantee entry. We will contact successful applicants after the ballot results have been announced later in the year.

Public ballot places

Ballot applicants will find out whether they received a place for London Marathon 2025 in July. If you are successful in the public ballot and would like to support Child Bereavement UK, please get in touch to let us know. Ballot place runners don't have a specific fundraising target, but our team will support you to meet your personal goal.

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
