Each year Child Bereavement UK is the beneficiary charity for a number of festivals and other events across the UK. This means the organisations that manage and stage the events or festivals allow us to raise funds on the day.

We couldn’t do this without the help of our volunteers who help us fundraise through activities such as selling wristbands and raffle tickets in aid of Child Bereavement UK. We also sometimes receive a donation to the charity from the event organisers for helping out with tasks such as scanning entrance tickets, helping with car parking or litter picking.

Our volunteers are supported by Child Bereavement UK staff whose role is to coordinate our volunteers and to support them on the day.

Child Bereavement UK helps children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies.

The funds that our festival and events volunteers help us to raise help our charity to provide support to bereaved families who need us.

Every volunteer and every hour of volunteering is important to us. By generously donating your time, you’re helping us ensure that no family has to face the devastation of bereavement alone.
