If you would like to take part in the iconic TCS London Marathon whilst supporting Child Bereavement UK, you can apply in the following ways:

Public ballot places

The public ballot is open between Friday 24 April and Friday 1 May 2026. We encourage all London Marathon hopefuls to apply for a ballot place as well as applying for a charity place. Ballot place runners don't have a specific fundraising target, but our team will support you to meet your personal goal.

When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive:

  • a branded top to wear on the day

  • support from our dedicated team to help you achieve your target

  • additional fundraising resources upon request

  • access to training app by our partners at GH Training

  • e-newsletters with news from across the charity

  • a loud and bright cheering team along the route.

Whether you are a seasoned runner or a first-timer, Child Bereavement UK will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a support package of which we are proud. We will do all we can to ensure your marathon experience is one you will never forget.
