  • Increase your awareness of how children and young people understand and respond to loss, death and bereavement, across all the age ranges.
  • Gain an understanding of the theories of loss and grieving in relation to children and young people.
  • Develop knowledge of practical strategies and gain greater confidence in supporting bereaved children and young people.
  • Explore your own experiences of loss and the potential impact of this when observing the grief of others.
  • Gain information about Child Bereavement UK, other support organisations and resources that can support bereaved families.

Cost: £45

We encourage prospective participants to consider their own experience of loss and how it might affect them during training. Generally speaking, our training is not usually suited to anyone who has suffered a recent, significant personal loss or bereavement.
