England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3,000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line, with a variety of distances available, there’s a Thames Path Challenge for everyone! 

Why Child Bereavement UK?

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

There are three ways to take on the Thames Path Challenge:

Full sponsorship for charity You pay a low registration fee and have a minimum fundraising target. The charity covers your event place cost. Please select 'Child Bereavement UK' when you complete your registration. Register for a full sponsorship place

Mixed funding for charity You pay half the registration fee and the charity pays the remainder. You have a smaller minimum fundraising target. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'. Register for a mixed funding place

Own place charity fundraising You pay full event place cost when you register and there is no minimum fundraising requirement. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'. Register your own place
