One of Britain’s best-known broadcasters, Claudia is the host of Strictly Come Dancing, and the voice of Sunday nights on BBC Radio 2. She has just finished filming the second series of Britain’s Best Home Cook, previously presented four series of The Great British Sewing Bee, and was the host of BBC Film for 6 years.

Claudia has supported Child Bereavement UK at a number of fundraising events, and in 2018 represented the charity at the BGC Charity day, where she joined dozens of other big-name stars who took over the trading floor at BGC Partners, Inc. in Canary Wharf for the day, to help raise funds for a number of charitable causes.

Commenting on the day, Claudia said:

Taking part in the trades and meeting representatives of the charity was fantastic. I’m extremely proud to be associated with Child Bereavement UK, the work they do to help rebuild lives is extraordinary.

Claudia joins a number of other illustrious stars of the screen as Patrons of the charity, including Ben Fogle, Alan Titchmarsh, Gary Barlow, Jason Watkins, Joey Essex, and Mary Berry. HRH The Duke of Cambridge became Child Bereavement UK’s Royal Patron in 2009.

On becoming Patron, Claudia said:

The work that Child Bereavement UK do is extraordinary and I'm incredibly proud to be a patron.
