Case study – Paul's tribute After Jayne’s husband Paul died, an online Snowdrop Tribute Page was opened in his memory where family and friends could find information about the funeral plans, add photos and memories of Paul, and donate in memory. Paul’s colleagues and friends linked their JustGiving page to the Tribute page when they decided to walk 25km as part of the Thames Bridges Challenge in his memory, raising nearly £45,500 to date. Jane said: Our funeral directors set up the Snowdrop Tribute page for us, which turned out to be a wonderful way to gather memories of Paul from those who knew him. It provided a comforting space for people to share condolences and memories without needing to reach out to us directly during such a difficult time. I could read the heartfelt messages and view the photos when I felt ready. An added benefit was the ability for people to donate to a charity that directly benefits Paul’s children. We were touched by the generosity of those who contributed, including many who didn’t know us well but wanted to show their support. We also linked JustGiving fundraising pages to Paul’s fund, allowing us to see all the donations raised in his memory in one place. Read more about setting up a tribute page Manage Cookie Preferences
