Child Bereavement UK is in the process of merging with another bereavement charity. Once the merger is complete, which is expected to be April 2026, you will be able to access support from the newly merged Child Bereavement UK. While we merge our services, we’re here to make sure you are guided to support without delay.

For children and young people up to the age of 25 who are bereaved or facing bereavement

If you are a child, young person, or an adult supporting a child, Child Bereavement UK is here to listen and offer support via our Helpline, Live Chat and email support services.

You can also access a range of information, guidance, films and animations for childrenteenagers and young adults on our website.

If you would like to explore receiving one-to-one support from a nominated practitioner, you can get in touch with our colleagues at Winston’s Wish.

For parents and carers when a baby or child has died or is dying

Child Bereavement UK is here to listen and offer support to families via our Helpline, Live Chat and email support services.

You can also access a range of information, guidance, films and animations on our website if you have been bereaved of a baby or child or if someone is not expected to live.

During this transition, we are unfortunately unable to offer one-to-one support with a nominated practitioner. However, we can help signpost you to other organisations that can help, or you can come back to us after our organisations have merged to find out what support is available. In the meantime, you can continue to access our Helpline, Live Chat and email support as often as you wish.

Services for professionals

Our training and education sector support services, including our Helpline services for professionals, continue as normal.

Call our Helpline 0800 02 888 40, email [email protected], or use Live Chat on our website.
