Get involved Fundraise for us Take on a challenge London Summer Walk | 22 August Explore some of the Capital’s less known historic areas Get your walking shoes on and tour the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section. Choose from three distances, 10km, 25km or a full marathon route, all of which are steeped in history with iconic sights. There will be a lively warm up, full support all the way, and capped with a BBQ meal, bar and music at the finish – making for a wonderful end of summer celebration! Register for the challenge When you fundraise for us, you’ll receive: a welcome email and fundraising pack a branded top to wear on the day support from our dedicated team to help you achieve your target additional fundraising resources upon request access to training app by our partners at GH Training e-newsletters with news from across the charity. I decided to fundraise for Child Bereavement UK so that others can receive help when they are faced with the most turbulent times of their lives. Matt Fundraising options There are three ways to take on the challenge, registration fees range from £20 to £99 and fundraising targets vary. Full sponsorship for charity You pay a low registration fee and have a minimum fundraising target. The charity covers your event place cost. Please select 'Child Bereavement UK' when you complete your registration. Mixed funding for charity You pay half the registration fee and the charity pays the remainder. You have a smaller minimum fundraising target. When you complete your registration form and choose a charity, please select * OTHER * on the list and then add 'Child Bereavement UK'. Own place charity fundraising You pay full event place cost when you register and there is no minimum fundraising requirement.
