The research project 'Involving parents and staff in learning from child deaths' has worked with bereaved parents and Child Death Review professionals to determine how we can support parents to contribute information to child death reviews and receive feedback from them. The research team, led by Dr Jo Garstang, will present the findings from the project and the toolkit designed to support parental involvement.

Who should attend?

Keyworkers, hospital bereavement staff, palliative care bereavement staff, hospital mortality review staff, bereavement support organisations, specialist child death review nurses, Designated Doctors for Child Death, Child Death Overview Panel members.
