Child Bereavement UK can provide the following support to families when a child or young person aged 25 or under is grieving or a baby or child has died or is expected to die before their 26th birthday.

We understand that supporting a bereaved child or young person, especially when you may be grieving yourself, may bring uncertainty, concern, and a deep sense of responsibility. You are not alone in this. We are here to offer guidance, compassion, and support, helping you to provide sensitive and meaningful care during what is often one of the most difficult times in a person’s life.

Whether it’s helping you find the right words to approach sensitive conversations or guiding you towards the most appropriate support for a child or young person, we are here to offer the guidance and resources you need.

Additional bereavement support

If the bereaved child, young person or parent you are supporting isn’t sure what help they need or where to start, they are encouraged to complete an enquiry form. That form will be carefully assessed by our bereavement specialists to determine the best and most appropriate service based on their needs.

We are unable to process any enquiries without the prior consent of the child, young person or parent.
