Any money raised by your school hosting an Elephant's Tea Party will help us to:

• Provide specialised training to the many professionals who support bereaved children and families in the course of their work, including teachers, social workers, nurses, doctors, police and midwives to name a few. We currently train over 9,000 professionals each year.

Each course I attend gives me further confidence. It also helps my self-awareness and reignites my passion for making a difference to bereaved children, young people and their families.

• Enable families to continue to be supported free of charge both through our national helpline and face-to-face.

Today I rang for the first time and I wish I had done it sooner. Just after one phone call I feel a lot better.

• Help us to continue to develop information for our website to support families and professionals.
• Help reduce feelings of isolation by providing an online forum for bereaved parents to talk to each other in a safe environment.

I have been too emotional to speak at any great length to anyone yet, and this forum has helped me through the very darkest days of my life.

• Help us plug the gaps that exist across the country in the provision of face to face support in partnership with other local organisations.

All monies raised will go to improving the support provided to bereaved children and families in the UK.  Please help us to help them rebuild their lives.
