Become a Junior Youth Ambassador!

Our Junior Youth Ambassadors are children who want to share their voice to have a say in how children are supported and help us to make sure every bereaved child gets the support they need.

As a Junior Youth Ambassador you will have the chance to be involved in lots of different opportunities to:

  • Share ideas.

  • Tell us what you think children's bereavement support should look like.

  • Meet others at online meetings.

  • Test out our books and activities.

  • Share your writing, art and poems to help other children.

  • Work with other children on projects.

You always get to choose what you get involved with.

How does it work?

Most involvement happens at our monthly meetings, a fun and supportive space to share your voice and work on projects and feedback with others.

For any online groups your parent/carer must be there too and can take part in supporting you.

Who can apply?

Any child under the age of 13 who has been bereaved of someone important to them.

You don’t need any skills to join – you just need to share your voice and experience to help us support others.

We want to make sure every child gets the support they need. We welcome all voices from any background, community or needs.

What's in it for me?

  • A chance to connect with other children and their parents/carers.

  • A chance to help us support other children and young people.

  • Learn new skills.

  • Make a difference!

How can I get involved?

Ask an adult or carer to support you in filing out an application form, then one of our team will get in touch with your parent or carer and arrange a short zoom call to share more about our Junior Youth Ambassadors and how you can get involved.
