Your partnership with Child Bereavement UK will help us to make a difference to bereaved families in local communities. Your support enables us to provide a range of bereavement support to families across the UK, including:

  • Face-to-face support sessions for individuals, couples, children, young people and families
  • Booked telephone support for families who are not able to access support in their area
  • A free helpline for bereaved families and the professionals who support them
  • Training for professionals who support families, including GPs, midwives, social workers, teachers, emergency services, lawyers, and HR teams

When a child dies or when a child is bereaved, the impact can be far-reaching. There can be a ripple effect in the wider community in which they live, adding pressure to local services such as schools or GPs, or social services.

GSK is proud to support Child Bereavement UK’s work. We were privileged to meet a 16-year-old girl, who following her mother’s death, was left alone to care for her siblings. She credits Child Bereavement UK with helping her to cope with her loss and turning her life around. It was truly inspiring to meet her and the London team, and to understand more about the impact of the amazing work they are doing.
