Who is this training for?

This training is suitable for professionals working with bereaved individuals, for example: health and social care staff, hospice staff, education professionals, faith leaders, emergency service personnel, and charities.

What will I learn?

During this training, you will:

  • Increase your understanding of the potential impact on you of working with loss, death and grief.

  • Appreciate how experiences can affect you, both personally and professionally.   

  • Acknowledge the impact of burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.  

  • Identify ways of looking after yourself and recognise why this is important.   

  • Consider ways in which you can maintain your resilience and wellbeing.

  • Receive information about Child Bereavement UK and other support organisations, and resources available. 

There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar using the Q&A function.
