Patricia Hodge is an actress whose career spans over forty years of continual involvement in all aspects of the media. She has been nominated for six major awards and holds an Olivier Award 2000 and the Voice of the Year at the Spoken Words Awards 2003. She has honorary doctorates (D.Litt) from Lincoln, Leicester and Brunel Universities, and was made an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2017.

Patricia first became involved with Child Bereavement UK when her children were very young, firstly from a profound sense of gratitude for the plain fact of their existence. Her commitment was further underlined by the early death of one of her son’s school friends.

Her support takes the form of whatever she is asked and is able to do, usually in performance terms!
