Support & guidance Find support How we can support you Support for children and young people Child Bereavement UK can provide the following support to children and young people (aged up to 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live. When someone dies, it can leave you feeling lost, unsure of what to think, feel, or do next. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, friend, or someone you admired from afar, their absence can feel overwhelming, frightening, and deeply upsetting. Life can suddenly seem unfamiliar without them in it. We are Child Bereavement UK, and we want you to know that whatever you’re feeling – or not feeling – is completely valid. Grief doesn’t follow rules, timelines, or expectations, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. We’re here to help you find your own way forward, in your own time. There are lots of ways we can support you. All of our services are digital, meaning you can access them wherever you are in the UK.
