Child Bereavement UK can provide the following support to professionals who work with bereaved children, young people, parents and families.

We understand that working with a bereaved child, young person, or parent may bring uncertainty, concern, and a deep sense of responsibility. You are not alone in this. We are here to offer guidance, compassion, and support, helping you to provide sensitive and meaningful care during what is often one of the most difficult times in a person’s life.

As well as offering bereaved individuals' immediate access to expert information and support, Child Bereavement UK is here for professionals too -providing guidance and resources to help you offer compassionate, informed care to the people you are supporting.

Whether it’s helping you find the right words to approach sensitive conversations or guiding you towards the most appropriate support for those you are working with, we are here to equip you with the confidence and tools you need.

    Additional bereavement support

If the bereaved child, young person or parent you are supporting isn’t sure what help they need or where to start, they are encouraged to complete an enquiry form. That form will be carefully assessed by our bereavement specialists to determine the best and most appropriate service based on their needs. We encourage you to support the person you are working with to make their own enquiry.

We are unable to process any enquiries without the prior consent of the child, young person or parent.
