Who is this training for? This training is suitable for individuals whose work brings them into contact with grieving children and young people, for example: health and social care staff, faith leaders, emergency service personnel, and charities. Separate training for education professionals is available, however all are welcome. What will I learn? During this training, you will: Increase your awareness of the impact on children of bereavement in childhood. Gain awareness of additional challenges faced by children and young people bereaved by suicide. Develop greater confidence in providing support to, and communicating with, children and young people bereaved by suicide. Explore ways of talking about death by suicide. Develop an awareness of the challenges of the work and the importance of looking after yourself. Receive information about Child Bereavement UK and other support organisations, and resources available. Booking details £50 per person.
