Setting up a funeral collection

A way in which funeral donations can be collected is via an online tribute page; Child Bereavement UK's tribute pages are hosted by the MuchLoved platform. Friends and family can make a donation or leave a message on the online page and families can send a single link to next of kin advising them of the location of the funeral service and any wake, including a map of the respective locations.

The tribute page stays active after a funeral and offers a way for families to remember someone special to them by uploading photographs, videos, music, lighting virtual candles, adding virtual gifts, and also setting up events or linking other fundraising pages. Child Bereavement UK is notified when a page is set up, enabling us to engage with and and thank families sooner and start to build a relationship with them. Pages may be set up by the family or funeral director.
