Become a Youth Ambassador!

Our Youth Ambassadors are young people who are passionate about sharing their voice to shape what we do, spread the word and help us on our mission to make sure no child or young person faces grief alone.

As a Youth Ambassador you will have chance to spread the word and get involved! We will share the opportunities to:

Take part in focus groups.
Share your lived experience to help others feel less alone.
Write for our website.
Appear in the media.
Act as an Ambassador for the work of Child Bereavement UK.
Get involved in projects and research.
Create content.
Share your story.
Take part in our Youth Team podcast, Grief in Common.
Shape and support Child Bereavement UK campaigns.
Test out and feedback on our services.
Be part of a community of change makers.

What you get involved in is totally up to you!

Who can apply?

Any child or young person between the ages of 13 and 25 who has been bereaved of someone important in their lives.

You don’t need any skills to join – just a willingness to share your voice and experience to help improve and shape support for others.

Child Bereavement UK wants to make sure every bereaved child, young person and parent gets the support they need. To achieve this, we need a wide range of Lived Experience Ambassadors to share their experiences – particularly those who are often unheard and underrepresented. We actively welcome members from diverse backgrounds, communities and needs.

What's in it for me?

How can I get involved?

Fill out an application form, then one of our team will be in touch to arrange a short zoom call and share more about the role and how you can get involved.
