The Southampton Mela Festival is a long-standing summer highlight in Southampton's events calendar which celebrates modern and traditional Asian culture. The festival will feature performances by world-class musicians and dancers and delicious authentic food and family activities will be available.

We're seeking friendly, approachable people to volunteer 4-hours of their time to help Child Bereavement UK by collecting surveys from festival goers and supporting entry into the festival by marshalling or helping in the VIP tent.

By volunteering at this festival, you will be raising much-needed funds for Child Bereavement UK as the event organisers will be making a donation for every volunteer involved. All volunteers will be supported both before and during the event by Child Bereavement UK staff. Come and enjoy a warm and family-friendly event, we look forward to welcoming you.

It's a social opportunity as well, you get to meet and talk to new people and promote the charity, it's been great. Do it, sign-up, it's for a good cause!

Dominique, Festival Volunteer
