Who is this training for?

This training is suitable for workplace colleagues who work alongside those who have been bereaved by suicide.

What will I learn?

During this training, you will:

  • Increase your awareness of how people respond to loss, death and bereavement.

  • Gain awareness of additional challenges faced by families bereaved by suicide.

  • Develop greater confidence in providing support to, and communicating with, people bereaved by suicide.

  • Explore ways of talking about death by suicide.

  • Develop awareness of the role of postvention in reducing suicide risk.

  • Identify ways of looking after yourself and recognise why this is important.

  • Receive information about Child Bereavement UK and other support organisations, and resources available. 

There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar using the Q&A function.
