Who is this training for? This training is suitable for individuals whose work brings them into contact with families involved in a Child Death Review, for example: Child Death Review keyworkers, police and coroners’ officers, doctors, nurses, midwives, health and social care staff, and hospice staff. What will I learn? During this training, you will: Discuss the impact of the Child Death Review process on grieving families. Develop greater confidence in providing support to, and communicating with, bereaved individuals. Explore the opportunities, limits and challenges of your role in the process. Increase your awareness of how people bereaved of a child respond to loss, death and bereavement. Identify ways of looking after yourself and recognise why this is important. Receive information about Child Bereavement UK and other support organisations, and resources available. Booking details £60 per person.
