Want to fundraise in your own way? For inspiration on different and exciting ways to raise money for Child Bereavement UK, please see our ideas below. We also have more ideas if you are fundraising as part your community, school or business.

Quiz

Why not test your general or specialised knowledge by organising your own quiz night? You can raise money by charging an entrance fee for teams or by having a ‘financial penalty’ pot for wrong answers. Don’t forget to have a great prize for the winning team, perhaps donated by a local company.

Coffee morning

Hosting a coffee morning is a real treat for everyone – whether you like baking cakes or just eating them! Invite your friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours to join you for a relaxed, social event. We can provide you with a checklist to help you make the most of your event. We can also give you materials to publicise your sale, and to use at your event.

Ball

Why not be really ambitious and host a charity ball? Our fundraising team can give you plenty of support and advice. We can also provide handy 'How To' guides and fundraising materials to help make your event a great success.

A personal challenge

Have you ever wanted to do something amazing, but never got round to doing it? This is your chance to fulfil your dream, learn a new skill, or maybe overcome a fear. There are so many options from skydiving or swimming with sharks to walking the length of the Giant's Causeway, entering a car rally or simply completing 100 acts of kindness. If you'd like some inspiration, visit our challenges page, or read about some of our past fundraisers.

A family fun day can be an amazing way to fundraise that’s fun for both children and adults. We can provide you with a helpful ‘How To’ guide and all the fundraising materials you need.
